A WW2 survivor this old 4x4 GMC Truck finished its civilian service at the Old Laura Station in the far north of Queensland, Australia and now comes back to life in this stunning image.
Possibly the ultimate form of wall décor, this dynamic canvas comes with back hanging already included for convenient placement, and is produced with a mirroring print around the edges, so it looks great without framing, and is built solid enough not to need it.
The old station, and truck, were abandoned years ago after a series of floods and are found just off the side of a 4wd only track that eventually leads to the most Northern point of Australia, at the top of the Cape York Penninsula.
We stumbled across the abandoned homestead on the first evening of a “bucket list” 4x4 adventure to “the top” in a small group of rented Toyota Landcruisers set up for off-roading, and complete with roof top tents.
Available in 5 sizes, from a compact 12x8” that makes a great little gift to a superb 48x32” that will add a statement to any wall, and stop your neighbours in their tracks, the finished product turns it’s surroundings into a feature.
What a superb house warming gift.
Made and printed by the best canvas specialist we could find, the finished product makes a masterpiece of John’s image.

As with all our images this vivid photo is exactly as it came off the camera, it hasn't been edited or enhanced in any way, it absolutely reflects the essence of the place.
The image may possibly have been cropped to fit the printers parameters.
