Possibly the ultimate form of wall décor, this stunning canvas is made and printed by the best canvas specialist we could find, and makes a masterpiece of Dena’s image.
Now in the hands of a group of steam enthusiasts, P107 is seen here sitting on a disused siding in the small Central Otago town of Middlemarch, where the Taeri Gorge railway ends.
From here the railway has been torn up, and is now a popular cycle trail, so P107 gets a fair number of visitors, as she sits right next to the finish of the ride.
Available in 5 sizes, from a compact 18x12” that makes a great little gift to a superb 48x32” that will add a statement to any wall, and stop your friends and neighbours in their tracks!
In its hey-day Middlemarch was central to the settlement of the Taeri Valley, and was a transit point for much of the gold shipped out during the Otago gold rush.
We called to pay our respects to the elegant lady during a visit to the nearby Rock and Pillar ranges, and the 4WD track to the top.
Coming up in in our PhotoArtGallery will be a series of images from our off road scramble through the bizarre rock formations that make up the high country landscape.
The canvas comes with back hanging already included for convenient placement, and is produced with a mirroring print around the edges, so it looks great without framing, and is built solid enough not to need it.
What a superb house warming gift.
The production values of the print are second to none, and include:
.: Cotton and polyester canvas composite with a special proprietary coating
.: Frame made with 1.25” radial pine sourced from renewable forests for extra strength
.: Canvas is printed using latex inks that are non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-flammable
.: Optimised for the highest quality images using UL-certified Greenguard Gold inks
.: Soft rubber dots on bottom back corners for support
.: Back hanging fittings included
.: NB! Due to the production process of the canvases, please allow for slight size deviations with a tolerance +/- 1/8" (3.2mm)
