In fact they tend to stay close at hand to take advantage of the bugs and insects we dislodge in our activities around the area.
This guy spent a couple of days with us beside Lake Ohau where we had been staying after a 4WD trek through North Otago, and where new had already captured “The Peak” and “Lake Reflections” the day before.
It was quite a weekend for both offroading and photography.
