Captured in all it's glory this perfect Arum Lily ( often known as a Calla Lily) was the self appointed feature flower of a clump of the plants growing wild in the Waihi Gorge, just out of Geraldine in South Canterbury, In New Zealand's South Island.

Posing beside the Waihi River, the plant caught Dena's eye as we were walking upstream from our campsite towards the Waihi Rapids, the real reason for our visit.

The very much off grid campsite is still one of our favourite spots, you will see why as we keep adding listings to our store.

As with all our images this photo is exactly as it came off the camera, it hasn't been edited or enhanced in any way, except possibly cropped to fit the printers parameters.
