Now in the hands of a group of steam enthusiasts, the partially restored P107 is seen here sitting on a disused siding in the small Central Otago town of Middlemarch, where the Taeri Gorge railway ends.

From here the railway has been torn up, and is now a popular cycle trail, so P107 gets a fair number of visitors, as she sits right next to the finish of the ride.

In its hey-day Middlemarch was central to the settlement of the Taeri Valley, and was a transit point for much of the gold shipped out during the Otago gold rush.

We called to pay our respects to the elegant lady during a visit to the nearby Rock and Pillar ranges, and the 4WD track to the top.

This special jigsaw puzzle will deliver hours of entertaining downtime for friends and family.
